As normal but the happy staff kept us amused throughout. Just a comment on the paté starter (bland) which needed some salt & pepper but the caramelised onions were great...👍.... maybe included in the paté next time??
The main lunch was very tasty but worth a check on portion control.....for meat.... maybe a little more?
My normal Bakewell Tart (my favourite) was not "like for like" certainly different.
Possibly not needed on the Menu Board or the alternative tart should have been re-written on the Board.
Final comment; when splitting a bill for a larger table... it's not necessary to hand over 6 or more of waitress pads.....the till should help in sorting this...Staff were instructed at our arrival to split the bill but this caused confusion at the end of our meal. (Three & a half Stars this time). Sorry...

We had Sunday Lunch there and at €12 per head not the cheapest around BUT you get three courses and the food is really good. A bottle of house wine is only €8 and it’s a nice Tempranillo. Will certainly be back.
